5. Personal data protection (GDPR)
Data controller
The controller of personal data collected through brutux.studio is Victor Michel, founder of Brutux Studio: contact@brutux.studio.
Data collected
The only personal data collected through this website is the data you choose to provide when getting in touch (form or booking through Cal.com): last name, first name, email address and the content of your message. No data is collected without your active consent.
To access a free resource (such as a self-assessment checklist), the form also asks for your company, your role, the stage of your product and whether you have a project, along with where your visit came from (the link or social network you followed). These answers are only used to follow up with you about the resource and to measure which content is useful. If you choose to send your assessment result, it is passed on to Victor Michel with your email address. Forms are sent through Formspree, which stores submissions on our behalf. Otherwise, your answers to the checklist stay in your browser.
Purposes
The data is used only to answer your contact requests, organise business meetings and follow up on our exchanges. It is never sold, transferred or passed on to third parties for commercial purposes.
Retention period
The data is kept for a maximum of 3 years from the last contact, in line with the recommendations of the CNIL (the French data protection authority) for prospects and potential clients.
Your rights
Right of access: obtain a copy of the data about you.
Right to rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
Right to erasure: ask for your data to be deleted (right to be forgotten).
Right to restriction: restrict the processing of your data in certain circumstances.
Right to data portability: receive your data in a structured, readable format.
Right to object: object to the processing of your data on legitimate grounds.
To exercise these rights, write to: contact@brutux.studio. You will receive an answer within 30 days.
If you believe your rights are not respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL.

The website brutux.studio may use technical cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work (remembering your theme and language preferences). These cookies collect no identifiable personal data and do not require consent under the ePrivacy directive.
The website uses audience measurement tools that set no cookie and cannot identify visitors: Vercel Web Analytics and the Metricool tracker. They only produce anonymous, aggregated traffic statistics (page views, traffic sources), which Brutux Studio uses to improve the site and its content.
Should tools that set non-essential cookies be enabled in the future, a compliant consent banner would be put in place before any such cookie is set.
You can set your browser to refuse cookies or to warn you when a cookie is sent. Instructions are available in your browser’s help pages.

Linking to brutux.studio is allowed without prior request, provided the link is not used for misleading or unlawful commercial purposes and is clearly identified as pointing to brutux.studio.
8. Limitation of liability

Brutux Studio cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damage resulting from access to the website, its use, or the inability to access it, whatever the cause.
The content published on this website (blog articles, case studies, analyses) is for information only and does not constitute legal, financial or strategic advice. Brutux Studio accepts no liability for its use.
