Winegrowers and cellars
Estates in Aigle, Yvorne, Ollon or Bex: your wines, tasting hours, cellar events and a simple order or booking form that reads well on a phone.
Brutux Studio designs and redesigns websites for businesses in the Vaud and Valais Chablais: Aigle, Bex, Villeneuve, Monthey, Saint-Maurice, Collombey-Muraz, Leysin, Villars and the Swiss resorts of the Portes du Soleil. The studio is based in Thonon-les-Bains, just across the border, and works throughout Switzerland, especially in French-speaking Switzerland around Lake Geneva.
The Chablais does not stop at Saint-Gingolph. Once over the border, it is split between two cantons on either side of the Rhône: the Aigle district on the Vaud side, with Villeneuve, Bex, Leysin and Villars, and the Valais Chablais around Monthey, Collombey-Muraz, Saint-Maurice and the Val d’Illiez. The same name as on our side, but a different country, different directories, a different data protection law and different search habits.
The local economy is remarkably varied for an area of this size. The Chablais wine appellation around Aigle and Yvorne. The chemical site and industrial subcontractors of Monthey. The Bex salt mines. The international schools and boarding schools above Leysin and Villars. And, at the head of the valleys, Champéry and Morgins, on the Swiss side of the Portes du Soleil ski area.
From the studio in Thonon, Monthey or Aigle are about an hour away by the lakeside road through Saint-Gingolph. Important workshops therefore take place on site, at your premises; day-to-day follow-up happens by video call. You deal with a single person, the studio’s founder, who knows both sides of the Chablais.
From the Aigle vineyards to the Champéry slopes, four profiles come up again and again.
Estates in Aigle, Yvorne, Ollon or Bex: your wines, tasting hours, cellar events and a simple order or booking form that reads well on a phone.
Rhône valley subcontractors, building firms, workshops: a company website that presents your expertise, reassures clients and helps you hire in an area where skilled people are in demand.
Hotels, chalets, ski schools, guides and equipment hire in Champéry, Morgins, Leysin or Villars: a presence in several languages, winter and summer alike, with direct booking or enquiries.
Private schools, healthcare practices, fiduciaries, property managers: clear information for families and clients who compare online before they call.
For businesses on the Rhône plain, on the vineyard slopes and in the resorts.
Expertise, references, sectors served and recruitment: a clear site that generates qualified enquiries in the Chablais and beyond.
Your wines, tastings, cellar-door sales and directions to the estate, presented simply and ranking well.
French, German, English: separate pages for each language, for Swiss German and international guests.
Google profile, Swiss directories such as local.ch and search.ch, pages for each commune: being found on google.ch across the plain and the valleys.
A site ready for a Swiss clientele, and consistent information wherever people look for you.
What changes when your clientele is Swiss and you are on this side of the border.
On Google as in an AI assistant, “Chablais” points to Haute-Savoie as much as to Valais and Vaud. A Monthey business that only says “in the Chablais” risks being confused with its French neighbours. Name your canton, your district and the communes you serve: Monthey, Collombey-Muraz, Vionnaz, Aigle, Ollon. Search engines then know where to place you, and visitors see straight away that you are on their side.
Since September 2023, the revised Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) has governed how a website collects personal data. In practice: forms that ask only for what is useful, an up-to-date privacy notice, carefully chosen analytics and a list of third-party services. We design the site in that spirit and prepare the information; legal sign-off stays with your adviser.
The Chablais is French-speaking, but its clientele is not always. The resorts welcome many Swiss German and international visitors, and the boarding schools and companies often work in English. Machine translation alone is not enough: each language deserves its own pages, its own search vocabulary and a review by someone who speaks it. We plan that structure from day one.
In Switzerland, local.ch and search.ch are still people’s first stop for an address or a number. Add your Google profile, the tourist office site, Région Dents du Midi and your trade association. The same name, address and phone number everywhere help Google and AI assistants recognise a single business. One old number left in a directory is enough to blur the signal.
For a Swiss clientele, a .ch address inspires trust. If you also own a .com or .fr, avoid publishing two copies of the same site: pick one main address, redirect the others to it and keep languages in separate folders. That way you concentrate your rankings instead of splitting them between two competing versions.
Three ways of getting a website built that you will come across between Villeneuve and Saint-Maurice, compared on what matters over time.
| Criterion | Brutux Studio | Local web agency | Online website builder |
|---|---|---|---|
| Location | Thonon-les-Bains, about an hour away; on-site meetings and video calls | On site, on the plain or in Lausanne | None, everything is done alone online |
| Technology | Custom-coded, fast site with no plugins to maintain | Often WordPress with a theme | Platform templates |
| Languages | Separate pages per language, built into the structure | Depends on the agency | Often machine translation |
| Data and nFADP | Few tools, lean forms, information prepared | Depends on the agency | Tools and hosting imposed |
| Beyond the website | UX, business software and AI with the same contact | Often advertising and social media | Nothing more |
The studio is in Thonon-les-Bains, in the French Chablais. We come to the Vaud and Valais Chablais for the key stages, from Villeneuve to Saint-Maurice and up to the resorts, and work remotely the rest of the time. More broadly, we work throughout Switzerland, especially in French-speaking Switzerland, all around Lake Geneva.

Nobody can guarantee it. You can, however, stack the odds in your favour: pages that answer your customers’ questions directly, your business named alongside its commune and canton, and identical details on your site, your Google profile and Swiss directories. Our page on visibility in AI answers explains the approach.
